I am Sarah Wilson, a student at The University of Arizona Global Campus within the Information Technology program with a passion for learning and development. I have taken many courses relating to Information Technology such as Computer Organization & Architecture, Fundamentals of Information Technology & Literacy, and Fundamentals of Programming Languages.
Areas of Interest
My interest spans a wide range of IT disciplines:
- Software Development: creating, designing, coding, testing, and maintaining computer programs and applications to perform specific tasks or functions.
- System Administration: managing and maintaining computer systems, networks, and servers to ensure they run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.
- Cybersecurity: protecting computer systems, networks, and data from various threats, including unauthorized access, data breaches, malware, and cyberattacks.
- Cloud Computing: access and use computing resources, such as servers, storage, databases, and software, over the internet.
My mission is to help myself and other students create and implement a plan while they are still in school to give them the best opportunity for landing their choice position after they graduate. It's helpful to know which IT certifications are specific to your niche and which are most versatile that are recommended for everyone. I make lists with links that form a hub for students to apply to the best hiring IT businesses. My posts' topics are informative and entertaining.
